Cherry and magnolia blossom, March and April 2024, 1170 Aubonne
Japanese people rave about the «Sakura», the Japanese cherry blossom. But the fact is that thanks to the arboretum in the Aubonne Valley, we have nothing to envy the land of the rising sun. Like an open-air museum, the arboretum plants trees of the same variety together. And these small families are beautiful and also very convenient for bees, because they can easily fly from one flower to the next. A few weeks later, 170 magnolia trees create a floral firework display with their spectacular, almost unreal blooms.
And every Sunday, guided tours of the flowering trees are offered.
